I, Zohrab Z. Yaralian, currently attend Herbert Hoover High School. The Glendale Community Foundation has awarded me with five hundred dollars. I still have not decided between attending the University of California, San Diego or the University of the State California via Glendale Community College. My career goal is to become a tax attorney. I have participated in our school's Associated Student Boyd for two years.

Elmira Momeni — $1,000

My name is Elmira Momeni and I attend Hoover High School. I have been awarded a $1,000 scholarship award. I plan to attend the University of California, San Diego next fall and major in Biology there. Then, I would like to go to dental school and become a Dental Hygenist. At Hoover, I have participated in clubs/activities such as: Key Club, Drama Club, Girls' Water Polo, and swimming.

My name is Bibi Babu I am currently attending Clark Magnet High School. I have been awarded a scholarship from the Glendale Community Foundation. I would like to thank the Foundation because now I am motivated to start a scholarship fund of my own in the future and give back to the community. Thank you! I plan to attend the University of California, Berkeley where I will major in pre-medicine. I would like to be a Medical Doctor where I am planning to pursue a career in joining Doctors Without Borders Association and travel to third-world countries. Being a representative as well as a leader for my school is truly an honor.

My name is Tamar Mirzayan and I attend Clark Magnet High School. I would be attending Glendale Community College in the fall and major in English. The career interest I have is to become a teacher. I feel fortunate to have attended such a great school which gave me the confidence to follow my dreams. I would like to thank The Glendale Community foundation because it provided me with financial assistance for school. It is appreciated greatly.

My name is Nastaran Sayyad and I attend Clark Magnet High School. In the fall I would be attending California State Northridge where I will major in Biology to have a career in Neurology. Clark has provided me with many opportunities and has introduced me to many field studies. I would like to thank The Glendale Community Foundation because they have given me an opportunity to continue my education.
