ON THE AGENDA
The Crescenta Valley Town Council is scheduled to discuss the following items at its Thursday meeting:
DONATION TOWARD LIBRARY
The council will discuss a proposed $5,000 donation to help fund a decorative medallion for the new Crescenta Valley library.
The medallion, which is slated to be embedded in the library floor, would depict scenes from the La Crescenta area over the years.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The council most likely will vote to approve the donation.
ALL AMERICAN CITY
The council will discuss the possibility of forming a committee to explore applying for recognition of La Crescenta as a National Civic League All American City.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The council will discuss the award and vote on whether to form a new committee.
HISTORICAL HOMES
The council will vote on whether to create a new Historical Home of the Month award that would recognize the owners and caretakers of homes in the area that have historical significance.
