TRUSTEE BOARD SELF-EVALUATION

Trustees presented their annual self-evaluation, where trustee members assess the board's strengths and weaknesses.

The trustees gave themselves a 1-through-5 rating, where 5 is the highest score, on 34 goals, categories and characteristics.

The average rating trustees gave themselves was just under 4.

According to the evaluation, trustees felt new members needed better orientation for the position, key functions should be better budgeted, and they needed to be more involved in legislative affairs.

WHAT IT MEANS

The self-evaluation will be presented to the chancellor's office.
