COACH OF THE YEAR

Dan Berry, Crescenta ValleyLed Falcons to a share of Pacific League title and a trip to the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division III playoffs. Crescenta Valley finished 22-6 this season.

FIRST TEAMRight-hander went 15-5 with a 0.99 earned-run average in 24 appearances and was named to the All-Pacific League first team. She struck out 117 in 120 innings and picked up victory against Arcadia to help Falcons share league crown.

Catcher, Crescenta Valley

Provided another steady season with the bat and behind the plate. The All-Pacific League first team pick, who batted .345 with seven doubles and 20 runs batted in, notched a .994 fielding percentage.

Alexis Garcia, Senior,

Utility Player, FSHA

Versatile shortstop/pitcher/catcher earned a spot on the All-Mission League first team after batting .475 with two home runs and 16 runs batted in. She also added four doubles and four triples and won two games in the circle.

Kerry Hodgins, Junior,The Pacific League first-team pick had another fine season with the Indians, who qualified for the postseason. Batted .395 with five doubles, 11 runs batted in and 27 runs scored.

Infielder, Burroughs

Baillie Kirker, Sophomore,

Infielder, Crescenta Valley

All-CIF second-team member batted .474 with three home runs and 20 runs batted in. She scored 23 runs and made just three errors to anchor the middle of Crescenta Valley's infield.

Amy Leos, Junior,

Outfielder, FSHA

Clubbed a team-high six home runs and drove in 14 runs to earn All-Mission League second-team accolades. Batted .410 and scored 14 runs.

Cassandra Lohman, Soph.,

Infielder, Providence

All-Liberty League first-team selection batted .474 and drove in a team-high 24 runs to help Pioneers qualify for playoffs. Registered five doubles, two triples and struck out just once.

Kristin Peraza, Sophomore,

Pitcher, Burbank

Enjoyed another fine season in leading Bulldogs to the postseason for the first time in years, striking out 245 in 135 innings. The right-hander went 14-7 with a 0.88 earned-run average and struck out 24 in two playoff contests.

Megan Schafer, Freshman,Finished with a .397 average and drove in 14 runs to secure All-Pacific League first-team honors. She hit one home run and notched three triples and scored 10 runs.

Infielder, Burbank

Kjirsten Speer, Senior,

Outfielder, Flintridge Prep

Two-time All-Prep League first-team pick batted .455 in league play, to go along with a .515 slugging percentage. She also drove in seven runs and scored seven runs.

Jade Terry, Senior,

Utility Player, Burroughs

Provided plenty of versatility at third base and in the circle. First-team All-Pacific League pick batted .411, and posted a 1.03 earned-run average.

Stephanie Ziemann, Soph.,

Outfielder, Crescenta Valley

Proved to be a reliable left fielder for the Falcons, as she batted .373. Finished with a .984 fielding percentage.
