GreenTeam, a group of Glendale mothers who share a common interest in living more sustainably, will meet at 7 p.m. at Sparr Heights Community Center, 1613 Glencoe Way, Glendale. The topic is “Let’s Talk Trash,” a discussion on garbage, how much is being created, where it goes and practical steps to take to reduce waste. Guest speaker Tom Brady of Glendale Integrated Waste, will speak about composting. Residents can sign up at the event to receive a free compost bin. Refreshments and light snacks will be served.
