Montrose-Verdugo Chamber: Chamber introduces its two newest members

October 19, 2007

I am very happy to report that we have two new chamber members to introduce. The first one is Computer Guy LA which, of course, is in the business of computer services. Please contact Norm Krauskopf at 3930 Park Place # 2 in Montrose for details (818) 726-1503.

Our second new member is Right At Home which services senior care. Please contact Diane Fortner at 1785 Locust Street # 3 in Pasadena at (818) 249-6896.

Congratulations are extended to Leila Bell (residential board member) on the birth of her daughter, Lucy Belle, this month. I’ve met her and she’s a cutie and her big brother is also very handsome. Leila will have her hands full later on.

Some events coming up next month is our mixer on Wednesday, Nov. 7.

If you have never attended a mixer you should come and check it out. There’s good food, great raffle gifts and some very nice people who live and work in your community to meet.

The mixer will be held at the Bank of America at 2350 Honolulu in Montrose from 6:30 until 8:30.

Call the chamber if you would like more information on this.

Then on Saturday, Nov. 10, the last ArtWalk for 2007 will be in the 2300 and 2400 blocks of Honolulu from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Holiday shopping anyone?

Let’s not forget the Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 1.

If you are interested in volunteering or being in the parade, contact the chamber for details.

Remember if you are not a member of the chamber you will not be included in the new 2008 directory, so pick up an application today or call and we will mail you one (must join by Oct. 31).

New business members can save $25 — just call and ask us how. Don’t have a business but want to join the chamber?

Come join as a residential member and save $10 this month.

We can be reached at (818) 249-7171, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until noon.

Have a great weekend.

MARIAN JOCZ is executive director of the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce.
