MSVNA interfaces with the City of Glendale, Glendale Crescenta Volunteers Organized in Conserving the Environment (VOICE), The Historical Society of the Crescenta Valley, and the Design Review Board.
The meeting is open to every area homeowner and all those concerned citizens interested in enhancing the quality of life in their local neighborhood. Career coach Tony McKeon is the scheduled speaker for the next American Business Women’s Association meeting. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. on Oct. 24 and is held at the Glendale Elks club at 120 E. Colorado Blvd., in Glendale.
McKeon owns a Long Beach-based executive coaching firm that is recognized for its positive impact on the careers of others. The evening will include an interactive discussion on the topic, “Essentials for Career Advancement.”

The public is invited to join the Wellness Community and former Assembly member Carol Liu to a mini-health conference, highlighting women’s health. The event takes places from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Oct. 25 at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel in the International Ballroom. The public is invited to walk through the many booths sponsored and hosted by local organizations.
