The introductory theater class will present “The Chronicles of Jane, Book Seven” performed by two classes and casts. The play, directed by Annalisa Sevaly and Danielle Cichon, will be at 4 and 5:30 p.m. June 3, and the production, directed by Melissa Stanley and Amal Shaheen, is at 4 and 5:30 p.m. June 4.

DUNSMORE ELEMENTARY
A ceremony celebrating being named a 2008 California Distinguished School was on May 19, and students enjoyed congratulatory ice cream sundaes dished out by the PTA.
Games, food and fun will be featured at the annual carnival, “A Country Fair,” which will be held after school on June 6.
The last PTA Association meeting will be at 6 p.m. June 12 in the auditorium. The meeting will be followed by a “Family Kite Night” activity on the playground. All students and parents are encouraged to attend.

FREMONT ELEMENTARY
Congratulations to the incoming PTA Board for 2008-09, which includes President Anne Beachey-Kemp, Assistant to the President Paige Farmer, First Vice President Liz Schetina, Second Vice President Betsy Wilbur, Third Vice President Amy Harley, Secretary Maria Bonino Britsch, Treasurer Patty Flannagan, Auditor Frances DeRoche, Parliamentarian Katherine Wallace, and historians Olympia Turchin and Raquel Rodriguez Wright.
The Spring Sing is at 6:45 p.m. Friday on the lower yard. The chorus will perform under the direction of Shawna Selline.
The first PTA meeting with the new board will be at 8:30 a.m. June 5 in the auditorium.
Family Night, including a year-end slide show, will be at 7 p.m. June 13 in the auditorium. This event is free.
