Women business leaders honored
The National Latina Business Women Assn. of Los Angeles named State Farm Insurance Field Executive Cindy Vasquez its corporate leader of the year.
Vasquez will accept her award at a gala on June 26 in the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences North Hollywood.
The association also named Yolanda Aguilar, YA Beauty Institute & Spa founder and chief executive, its business woman of the year.

Agent joins local insurance company
Long-term care insurance agent Eric Hamilton joined the Crescenta Valley Insurance group on Wednesday.
Hamilton, a 20-year Glendale resident, will work in the group’s Foothill Boulevard office. Crescenta Valley Insurance is a nearly 40-year-old business, offering automobile, home, life and business insurance.
