SCHNEIDER — RODEMICH
Dr. Eugene and Christine Rodemich of La Cañada Flintridge have announced the wedding of their son, Andrew Rodemich, to Leah Schneider.
The couple will be married this month at the Altadena Country Club. A reception will follow the ceremony. The bride’s maid of honor is her sister, Angelina Schneider, and the groom’s best man is Ray Rodemich, Andrew’s brother. The couple will honeymoon in Jamaica and live in Montrose.
Andrew was born and raised in La Cañada Flintridge. He graduated from La Cañada High School in 1994. He is a manager at the Sport Chalet in La Cañada Flintridge.
The groom’s father, Dr. Eugene Rodemich, was a senior research scientist at Jet Propulsion Laboratory until his retirement. Christine Rodemich is a nursing professor at Glendale Community College.
Leah Schneider is the daughter of Sherron Lesch and David Schneider of New Mexico. Sherron Lesch is an educator, and David Schneider is a landscape architect.
Leah was raised in New Mexico and works as an administrative assistant in Pasadena. She is an artist. ]
KAUFMAN — LOOFBOURROW
Laura Kaufman of Glendale and Nathan Loofbourrow of Westfield, N.J., have announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dr. Leonard and Margaret Kaufman of Glendale. She graduated in 1992 from Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena and received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the UC Irvine. She has worked in the field of social services.
The groom-elect is the son of John and Jean Loofbourrow of Westfield, N.J. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science, and received his master’s degree in computer and information science from Ohio State University. He has worked for DreamWorks Animation as a character technical director supervisor since 2001.
The couple will marry in November.
