COMMUNITY INVITED TO JOIN IN ON BOWL-A-THON

For the past 17 years, the Glendale Assn. for the Retarded has hosted an annual fall Bowl-A-Thon.

This event allows businesses, service clubs, community and board members and clients — developmentally disabled adults — an opportunity to socialize and bowl together.

This year, the Bowl-A-Thon will be Sept. 21 at the Pickwick Bowl in Burbank. Lunch begins at 12:30 p.m. followed by bowling at 1 p.m. Participants can enter as an individual or as a team. Sponsorship levels are also available.
