Rev. Beverly Craig
This week, students all over the Crecenta Valley and beyond are returning to school. What advice can you give to students as they walk back into the classroom for another year?
As I reflect on my earlier education, I remember that unless a subject had an “immediate” practical application, I was bored. For example, dissecting a frog meant nothing to me. Now, later in life, not paying attention has caught up with me. Having since realized every curriculum has a relevance to life, I enjoy researching those basics that I gave such little time to during my early education. From my own experience, I would advise students to give their all to every class in which they are enrolled.
