Banquet ads available

The Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce is accepting congratulatory ads for the program for its upcoming Recognition Dinner. Ads are $40 and must be submitted to the chamber office prior to Oct. 31.

Sheriff’s station site of blood drive

The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station is supporting Huntington Hospital’s blood drive by hosting the blood mobile at the station on Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary, but to schedule an appointment, call (818) 236-4021. The station is located at 4554 N. Briggs Ave. in La Crescenta.

Montrose tour rescheduled

The Old Town Montrose Tour with Mayor John Drayman has been rescheduled to Nov. 23.

Originally scheduled for this Sunday, Oct. 26, at 9 a.m., the tour has been rescheduled due to a film shoot taking place in Montrose on that day. The Historical Society of the Crescenta Valley, organizers of the event, and the mayor apologize for the inconvenience.

College Fair at GCC next Thursday p.m.

The Glendale College Career Fair will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Glendale Civic Auditorium 1401 N. Verdugo Road. Parking is free at the Verdugo Road parking structure.
