Free flu shots will be administered for seniors from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 12 at Scholl Canyon Estates, 1551 E. Chevy Chase Drive, Glendale.

Senior Peer Counseling at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center at 501 S. Buena Vista St., Burbank, needs volunteers. Program organizers are seeking individuals between age 50 and 100 with good listening skills and two to three hours of free time per week to train as senior peer counselors. Glendale Adventist Medical Center offers pool exercise programs for participants with arthritis, muscle pain and weakness from 8 to 9 p.m. and 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. weekdays; and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday at 1509 Wilson Terrace. The cost for individual sessions is $6.
