Crescenta Valley Chamber:

With an attitude of gratitude

January 16, 2009

“Feeling grateful to or appreciative of someone or something in your life actually attracts more of the things that you appreciate and value into your life.”

— Christiane

Northrup, M.D.

2009 a great new beginning to get rid of old grudges, renew friendships and tell the people in your life that you appreciate them. Try experimenting by: 1. Write down five people you care most about; 2. Next to their name write down the last time you showed appreciation for what they have done in your life; 3. Do something for them today to help make their day a little more special — say thank you, give a hug, tell them you love them, write them a little note, bring them a flower, smile at them, have a meal with them, give them a picture of the two of you having fun, call a pillow fight, play a game, walk to the park, compliment them, ask if they need help with anything, send them a happy e-mail or send a ‘real’ letter or card in the mail. You will be amazed at the results!
