Nominees sought for Jewel award
The Commission on the Status of Women is seeking nominations for its 2009 Jewel of Glendale Award.

The award recognizes the city’s outstanding women who have made great strides in life while faced with overwhelming challenges.
Organizations are encouraged to nominate up to two women.
Awardees will be recognized at the Jewel of Glendale Awards 2008 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 26 at the Anoush Banquet Hall.
