The city of Glendale Cultural Affairs section is accepting submissions from artists, art groups and art organizations for the Man’s Inhumanity to Man Art Exhibition scheduled for April. The exhibition will be part of the Annual Week of Remembrance Commemoration, an event to educate the public about atrocities throughout history and the world. Submissions must be received by Friday. The Forest Lawn Museum will host another History Comes Alive performance series titled “A Visit with Great Presidents” beginning at 9:30 and 11 a.m. in the Hall of Liberty at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles. The Glendale-Foothills Communities CROP Hunger Walk is having two Recruiter Rallies from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at Incarnation Catholic Church School, 1001 N. Brand Blvd., Glendale. CROP, or Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty, is a national fundraiser that benefits food pantries in the United States and provides food and other disaster relief aid to developing countries. A program concerning CROP Hunger Walks will be presented the first hour. These events are also open houses for people who just want to stop in to pick up the materials.
