AUDITIONS

Foothill Summer Theatre March 7. Auditions for Foothill Summer Theatre’s “Godspell” mark the program’s 27th season. Auditions will be held for the program March 7 at Flintridge Preparatory School. The program will run from June 22 through Aug. 2 at La Cañada High School from 1 until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The tuition per student is $1,000 and each student is also responsible for $200 in ad sales for the show’s program book. Foothill Summer Theatre will offer four performances of “Godspell” on July 30, July 31 and Aug. 1, all performed by 13–19 year-old students of drama, dance and voice.

CLASSES

Friends 4 Fulfillment Mondays from 10 to 11 a.m. and 7 to 8 p.m.; Tuesdays 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Class offered at the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge. This is a 10-week program in goal-setting for women.

Learn to Conduct a Successful Job Search — Feb. 21, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The La Cañada Flintridge Library is offering a free program for job seekers covering how to conduct a successful job search, presented by Toby Solorzano, a graduate of the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Learn where to search and what to look for in your job search. The program is free and light refreshments will be served.

The World of Mozart Tuesdays through June 9, 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Dr. Ted Stern, professor of music at Glendale Community College, conducts off-campus music appreciation classes for adults in the community. This semester will be “The World of Mozart, Beethoven and more.” Dr. Stern weaves music examples with cultural history to increase the students’ understanding of the evolution of the genre.
