Preschool hosting fundraiser

The La Cañada Flintridge Community Center Preschool (LCFCCP) is hosting its 16th annual fundraiser, the Western Round-Up, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 at the preschool. This popular western-themed event will feature fun for parents and children alike. Activities will include: pony rides, a petting zoo, carnival games and prizes, silent auction, raffle drawing, In-N-Out Burger, a bake sale, balloon animals and much more. Local bands PCH and The Black Sheep will be performing.

This event is open to the public. Game tickets and In-N-Out Burger are available for purchase at the school the day of the event. Free parking is available at Dilbeck Realtors located at 1030 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada.

High school holding Founders Day

Crescenta Valley High School is holding its PTSA Founders Day celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at the school’s cafe. Local organizations and individuals will be honored for their contributions to the community. The cost is $20 per person and includes dinner. The event begins with music at 6:15; the program starts at 6:30. To attend, please RSVP to Julie Dowse at (818) 249-5580 no later than Monday.

Clark Magnet High School Open House

Clark Magnet High School will be holding its Open House at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21. The public is invited to tour the classrooms of this magnet science and technology school. Classes from marine biology to dance are offered to students throughout Glendale. Clark Magnet High is located at 4747 New York Ave.
