Hill Street in La Cañada, two garage door remotes and two pair of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle; 4800 block between 1 and 4 a.m. on Tuesday.

Foothill Boulevard and Littleton Lane in La Cañada, deputies stopped a vehicle that did not have vehicle license plates. The driver pulled over to the curb along Foothill Boulevard and the passenger, a female La Crescenta resident, exited the vehicle and began walking away. Deputies reported she was staggering, and when they spoke to her she had slurred speech. She was arrested for public intoxication and the driver was cited for not having proper license plates on her vehicle; 10:15 a.m. on Sunday.

Meadow View Drive in La Cañada, jewelry, cash, a digital camera and video camera were stolen and the bathroom window was smashed in a home; 400 block between Friday and Sunday.

Crown Avenue in La Cañada, a wallet, iPod and portable global positioning system were stolen from an unlocked vehicle; 4500 block, reported at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.

Angeles Crest Highway and Greenridge Lane in La Cañada, Kevin Cabrera, 21, from Los Angeles was arrested for an outstanding warrant and providing false identification to a police officer.

Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a woman reported that as she was putting her groceries from the cart into her car’s trunk at the Vons Market parking lot, she placed her purse in the cart’s child seat. She said she noticed a black BMW with tinted windows driving down the lane toward her vehicle. When the BMW got close, the passenger window rolled down and a man, described as possibly Armenian, with black hair, black mustache and wearing a black or blue hoodie, leaned out of the window and grabbed her purse. The suspect’s vehicle then sped up and exited the parking lot; 1600 block at 4:48 p.m. on Friday.

Indiana Avenue in La Cañada, a Sirius radio and global positioning system were stolen from an unlocked vehicle; 4500 block overnight, Feb. 11-12.

Flanders Road in La Cañada, a white 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from the 1300 block overnight, Feb. 11-12.

Verdugo Boulevard in La Cañada, two teenagers had their bicycles stolen from the United Artists Theater where they had parked them by the chain link fence in the parking lot, unsecured.

They went in to watch a movie and when they returned the bikes were gone; 1900 block between 1 and 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 8.

Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, someone cut the wire harness to a refrigerator unit on the roof of Penguins Yogurt; 700 block between Feb. 8-9.
