Students clean up community
On Friday, Feb. 20, students from Trinity Christian School helped clean the Sunland community. The students worked to pick up enough trash to fill 70 bags during the school’s one hour walk-a-thon event.
Cheering the students on was one of the walk-a-thon’s corporate sponsors who dressed up as Elvis and cheered them through the local streets. Offering additional support were many Sunland neighbors who showed their appreciation by waving, honking and offering verbal thanks. Afterward, the group enjoyed live music and well-deserved refreshments on the school campus.
