Hospital names new president

Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center announced the appointment of a new president Wednesday.

Mark Meyers will take the helm of the south Glendale hospital March 9 after spending 32 years in the hospital management industry. He was most recently president of California Hospital Medical Center in downtown Los Angeles, which is also a part of the Catholic Healthcare West network.

He was chosen from a nationwide search after Glendale Memorial’s past president, Cathy Pelley, retired in October.
