Verdugo Boulevard in La Crescenta, a 42-year-old Montrose man was cited for parking in a handicap parking space with no obvious physical limitation. He had a handicap parking permit on the vehicle he was driving. The man reportedly told the officer that the vehicle belonged to his mom and he had been “just lazy” when he parked in the restricted parking space. He was cited in the 2000 block at 10:46 a.m. on Feb. 25.

Virginia Street in La Crescenta, a resident reported that when he returned home from work he found that his house key did not work in his front door. He discovered a small piece of metal had been broken off inside the lock in the 3600 block, reported at 7:12 a.m. on Feb. 25.
