You know Mother’s Day is just a week later, so you will need to be on Honolulu Avenue anyway shopping for just the right gift for your favorite person in the world. Don’t forget to make your lunch or dinner reservations early as this is known to be the busiest day in the restaurant industry. Calling all artists to participate!
I attended the “Coffee with the COPPS” last week (minus the coffee). By the way — what a great bakery! Oven Fresh Bakery and Café has a wide variety of items to choose from. It’s good to attend events like this as you will always walk away with more knowledge. I learned the Glendale Police Department has launched a new e-mail service called APB Glendale. This free service keeps you informed when you sign up to receive notifications of upcoming events, public safety tips, and wanted or missing persons bulletins. The more the public knows the better you are able to help the police.
