Everyone came together last weekend for the Relay for Life benefiting the American Cancer Society. It was a great weekend with a preliminary amount of over $100,000 in donations raised to help find a cure for cancer and to assist those who are dealing with it. Many people worked together; however keeping together is what makes progress, so please mark your calendars now for the third weekend in May 2010 to get involved. If you do not have anyone who has had to battle cancer, congratulations to you; however, if you do, you know how important this is to make sure people do not have to deal with this ugly disease for years to come. Thanks to all the people who came out and for those who worked so many hours to make it such a heart-warming event.
