Mark Keppel Elementary School’s annual Rock Concert put on by students, faculty and parents will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mark Keppel Elementary, 730 Glenwood Road, Glendale. The concert will have live music, food, rock ‘n’ roll, inspired accessories and hair do’s available for a nominal fee. The event is on the Virginia Street side of the campus. Call (818) 571-4877.

American Assn. of University Women’s Glendale Branch will feature soprano Jamie Cunanan at 9 a.m. at the Oakmont Country Club, 3100 Country Club Drive, Glendale. A graduate of the Los Angeles High School for the Arts, Cunanan earned her bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount and performed in many musical productions there. She was most recently in Gilbert & Sullivan’s “Iolanthe.” The past president of the association will install the new officers as well. Breakfast is $25. Call (818) 773-2227.
