Summer aquatics program to be held

The city of Glendale Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department will host its 10th annual summer aquatics program at Glendale, Hoover and Crescenta Valley high’s pools from June 29 through Aug. 21.

Recreational swimming, instructional lessons, the Glendale Gators community swim team, the Glendale Polo Bears water polo team and a junior life guarding academy will be available.

Program registration will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday on the lower level of the Glendale Civic Auditorium, 1401 Verdugo Road, Glendale, on a first come, first serve basis.

Registration will also take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through June 17 at the Glendale Sports Complex, 2200 Fern Lane, Glendale.

Hoover High is looking for a boys’ varsity soccer coach.
