Community Commentary:

Columnist can’t hide his own prejudices

I wonder if all this drama could have been avoided if he first tried to directly contact Armenian Youth Federation about his concerns as opposed to letting them know by a surprise attack in the paper.

Ironically, he is now asking the federation to show him the same courtesy that he didn’t show the organization by asking them to speak to him directly instead of going to Supt. Michael Escalante.

This is now out of your hands, Kimber. You have proven time and time again that there is no point in speaking to you — you are not as good in concealing your prejudice as you might think. Just because you are not a Genocide denier does not mean you can’t be held accountable for your intolerant xenophobic views, which you have been attempting to spread like wild fire in a city that is in the healing stages of past division.

Kimber, you have rendered yourself irrelevant and your integrity has been compromised, you are the very source of hatred you claim to fight, and in the interests of the community at large, it’s best you kindly step aside.
