GLENDALE — Five companies have filed separate lawsuits against the developer and contractor of the recently completed apartment building at 416 E. Broadway, claiming they were never paid in full for subcontracting work.
Browning Fire Protection Inc., BAS Appliance Gallery LLC, Force Framing Inc., Walker Construction Inc., and Arena Painting Contractors Inc. are suing Suffolk Construction Co. Inc. and East Broadway Venture LLC for violating signed agreements, which indicated they would pay thousands to the companies for installing a fire sprinkler system, appliances, windows and other work on the 115-unit apartment building, according to lawsuits filed in Glendale Superior Court.
