Splitting his spring as a first-time track runner, who aided mightily in a Tornadoes resurgence and on the diamond, Ochart was once again a baseball standout. He was an All-Pacific League second-team honoree, who was an excellent player at the plate, in center field an on the bases. He also earned a spot on the All-Area second team.

Others receiving votes: Edmund Chow, Flintridge Prep basketball and volleyball.
