Cooke to conduct basketball camp

Renaissance Academy basketball Coach Sid Cooke will conduct a basketball camp from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Monday through Friday at the school’s gymnasium,, 4490 Cornishon Ave., La Cañada Flintridge.

The cost is $175, and includes instruction and a T-shirt. The camp is open for ages 11-17.

Dick Marquis, founder of the NBA Summer League, will be on hand.

CV Little League fall baseball

Crescenta Valley Little League will conduct its fall baseball program.

There are no residency restrictions to participate. Age divisions are: 7-8 Competitive Tee-Ball, 9-10 Minor Baseball, and 11-12 Major Baseball.

Skills evaluations for individual participation will be Sunday and Aug. 30 at Montrose Park. External teams are also welcome.
