The Assistance League of Glendale is enrolling students for its fall SAT seminars. Classes are limited to 35 students so priority will be based on postmark date. Admission is free, but students need to purchase a $45 Kaplan SAT book. Monday/Wednesday classes start Oct. 5 and Tuesday/Thursday classes start Oct. 6. The Glendale Adventist Medical Center and the Commission on the Status of Women will present a lecture on local treatment options for surviving a stroke at noon at the Glendale Adventist Medical Center’s main auditorium, 1509 Wilson Terrace, Glendale. The McGroarty Arts Center is hosting the Angeles Crest Art Guild’s second annual show from 5 to 9 p.m. at 7570 McGroarty Terrace, Tujunga. The exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and will run until Saturday.
