Vons in Montrose will curtail its hours from 6 a.m. to midnight, instead closing at 10 p.m. beginning Tuesday to accommodate what company officials are calling a “lifestyle” remodel.
A grand reopening of the building at 2039 Verdugo Blvd. is scheduled for early January. The store’s exterior facade will be upgraded along with the shopping center’s exterior to create a standardized look, said Carlos Illingworth, manager of public affairs and government relations.
The shopping center’s common parking areas will also undergo improvements, with Vons performing interior work and the landlord taking care of the exterior, he said.
