District PTAs are in the midst of membership drives, and whether you are a parent, school neighbor, community leader or even a student, membership goes a long way in supporting youth and education in your community. Contact your school to join for a minimal fee. PTAs are also conducting annual fundraising events, so offer your support in any way you can. Funds raised are used toward improvements in programs at schools.
Speaking of support, the fifth annual State of the Schools Breakfast is hot off the griddle at 7 a.m. Thursday in the Edison Pacific Community Center, 435 S.
