BOYS’ SOCCER

Glendale 3, Burroughs 1: The Nitros, playing a day later due to rain postponing play on Saturday, defeated the Indians in the semifinals of the championship bracket of the Ralph Brandt Tournament on Monday at St. Francis High.

David Martirosyan tallied a natural hat trick with scores in the 14th, 22nd and 73rd minutes as Glendale emerged from an early 1-0 lead.

Emin Mitzahany and Jose Gomez had assists, while Osvaldo Florez garnered four saves.

The final is likely to be played next week.

Crescenta Valley 5, Lancaster 0: Pavle Antanackovic scored two goals to pace the Falcons (1-4-1) in a nonleague home victory on Tuesday. Jaehoon Jun, Joe Primo and Gor Grigoryan each scored for Crescenta Valley.

Flintridge Prep 5, Kilpatrick 2: Andy Davis, Kevin Heintz, Andrew Edwards, Jigar Patel and Eric Kazangian each scored to propel the Rebels (1-3) on Monday to their first win of the season.

Flintridge Prep goalkeeper Michael Ellis finished with nine saves.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Renaissance Academy 61, Temple City 43: Gil Tacita scored 19 points to lead the Wildcats (6-4) on Tuesday. Bryan Bourgeoise scored 13 points and Ed Burrows had 11.

Flintridge Prep 71, St. Bernard 65: Jonathan Woo led the Rebels (6-2) with 18 points in a nonleague win on Tuesday. Prep also got 14 points from Jared Norsworthy, 13 from Kenyatta Smith and 12 from Edmund Chow.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Mayfield 39, Holy Family 35: Jennifer Fisher had nine points Tuesday for the visiting Gales (0-5) in a nonleague contest.Gayle Lachica contributed eight points.

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 48, Immaculate Heart 42: Stephanie Ramsden had 16 points to lead the Tologs to a nonleague home win on Monday. Maddie Romero added nine points, while Stephanie Kiang had six for Sacred Heart (4-4).
