Glendale High School
Do you know a Glendale High parent, student, school staff member, community member, group, or organization that has gone beyond the call of duty to help children or youth in our community? Recognize their contributions with a California State PTA Honorary Service Award. Glendale High’s PTSA HSA Awards Committee meets throughout the year to consider those who have been nominated. For a nomination form, e-mail committee Chairwoman Patty Schermer at pek@charter.net. Awardees will be recognized at the 2010 Founders’ Day event.
Glendale High has gone green! The 2008 senior class is conducting a recycling program to raise money to keep the price of Senior Prom down and provide the school with a class gift. Twelfth-graders can trade in their cans and bottles for a reduced price on their prom ticket. Interested in helping? Call Rick Sherrick at (818) 242-3161, Ext. 1390, if you would like recyclables picked up.
