Zarian to talk about obesity
Glendale Unified school board member Greg Krikorian is scheduled to appear Thursday on “The Larry Zarian Show” to discuss childhood obesity trends and steps the district is taking to address the problem.
Also scheduled to appear is Elaine Miller, owner of All About You Wellness Bootcamp. She’s expected to talk about the dos and don’ts of physical fitness, and ways in which adults can get in shape.
The show airs at 7 p.m. on Channel 280.

Scholarships offered to CV High seniors
The La Crescenta Woman’s Club is offering two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors who go to Crescenta Valley High School.
Students applying must have a 2.0 grade-point average and be planning to attend a trade school, college or university. These scholarships are open to men and women.
Applications are available at the Crescenta Valley High School counseling office, or by calling (818) 249-5443. Application deadline is March 19.
