BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

Flintridge Prep 3, Maranatha 0: Kenyatta Smith and Chris Davis led the Rebels in kills with seven and six, respectively, and Jordy Manker contributed a team-high four aces in a nonleague 25-9, 25-9, 25-15 home win on Wednesday.

Zack Myers totaled 16 assists for Prep.

BOYS’ TENNIS

Hoover 12, West Ranch 6: No. 1 singles Ejmin Mehranian swept his three sets without dropping a game on Wednesday to lead the Tornadoes to a nonleague home win.

The Tornadoes’ No. 1 doubles team of Ron Glandian and Shero Beglarian also swept, 7-5, 6-2, 6-0, and No. 3 singles Alex Vartanian won, 6-2, 6-1, 6-0.

Hoover hosts Burroughs in a Pacific League match today at 3:30 p.m.

Crescenta Valley 18, La Salle 0: The Falcons improved to 3-1 with a dominant showing against the Lancers at Crescenta Valley on Wednesday.

BOYS’ GOLF

Flintridge Prep 207, Azusa 248: Jack Bouchard fired a one-over-par 36 to lead the Rebels (2-2) to a nonleague win at Altadena Golf Course on Wednesday.

Tracey Cheun and Ryan Kim each shot a 42 and Richard Lo shot a 43 for Prep.

Prep faces both Santa Clarita Christian and Webb at Marshall Canyon Golf Course today at 3 p.m.

MEN’S TENNIS

Cypress College 7, Glendale Community College 2: No. 1 singles player Joey Tressieras provided one win and the No. 3 doubles team of Garn Fangsuriyakul and Glenn Tolentino also won in a nonconference road loss on Wednesday.

The Vaqueros dropped to 4-7.
