Flintridge Prep 7, Pasadena Poly 2: Pitcher Denise van der Goot struck out 15 on Thursday to propel the host Rebels in a Prep League season finale.

Kelly Wang, Gina Crissman, Emma Vine and Marisa Wang each had a pair of hits for Flintridge Prep (10-10 and 7-5 in league). Kelly Wang, van der Goot and Jenna Galper each had two runs batted in.


Holy Family 18, L.A. Sacred Heart of Jesus 1 (5 innings): The Gaels closed out the regular season Thursday with a Horizon League win at the Glendale Sports Complex. The game was called because of the 10-run rule.

Holy Family (10-10 and 4-4 in league for third place) got four hits from Becky Martinez and two from Melanie Leyva. Holy Family starting pitcher Rachel Turner struck out six to pick up the victory.

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 8, Harvard-Westlake 2: MacKenzie Lyng and Sumner Hanula each had three hits to pace the host Tologs in a Mission League contest Thursday.

Lyng struck out four to pick up the victory and help the Tologs finish at 9-12 and 4-6 in league for fourth place.


St. Francis 12, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 5: David Olmedo-Barrera had a three-run triple to help the Golden Knights close out their season with a Mission League home victory at Jackie Robinson Field.

St. Francis starting pitcher Ethan Bramschreiber went six innings to get the win. St. Francis finished at 13-14 and 3-9 in league.
