House will be one of 11 seniors on the 2011 Falcons.
CSUN finished 31-22, 15-6 in the Big West Conference last season. The Matadors, who shared the conference title last season, will have a new coach in Tairia Flowers.
REID, EAGLES ALONE IN FIRST PLACE
The Philadelphia Eagles, coached by former Glendale Community College football player Andy Reid, sit atop the National Football Conference's East Division. The Eagles rallied late for a 27-17 victory over the visiting New York Giants on Sunday. The Eagles (7-3) won their third game in a row and own a one-game lead over the Giants with the teams scheduled to meet again Dec. 19.
The Eagles held a 16-3 advantage midway through the third quarter before the Giants rallied to take a 17-16 lead with 13:35 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Eagles then took the lead for a good on a 50-yard touchdown run on fourth down by LeSean McCoy with 4:25 left before David Akers sealed the victory with a 30-yard field goal in the final minute.
"This was a very important game to battle through when a team is coming after you," Reid told the Associated Press. "You have to fight and he did. That's really what we haven't seen, and he battled his tail off."
Philadelphia, which has won five of its last six contests, will travel to Chicago on Sunday to face the Bears (7-3).
QUARTERBACK CLUB FINAL MEETING
The Glendale YMCA Quarterback Club will hold its 12th and final meeting of the year at 11:30 a.m. today at The Elk's Lodge, 120 E. Colorado St., Glendale.
The club, which is in its 68th year, is geared to support the Crescenta Valley, Glendale, Hoover and St. Francis high football teams and the Glendale Community College football program.
