Jesse Franklin (Jeff) Davis

 Born April 4, 1915 in Sherman, Texas and died February 20, 2011 in Glendale, CA.  He was a veteran of World War ll serving in the Navy on the battleship USS Nevada in the Pacific, Atlantic and Aleution Island area.

 After the war he was employed as a wholesale bread salesman with Wonder Bakery in Dallas and Weber Bakery in various areas near Glendale.

 He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Glendale serving as head usher for 20 years, was an active member of the Builders Class and served ‘Meals on Wheels’ for the Salvation Army for 25 years.

 His wife of 63 years, Carol Davis, and his sister, Maud Ann Smith, of Dallas, Texas, survives him.

 Memorial services will be held Saturday March 5 at 1:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church, 134 N. Kenwood Street, Glendale, CA 91206
