The Walt Disney Co. will lay off 54 Glendale workers in its Interactive Media Group on March 25, according to a company filing with the state Employment Development Department.
The move would be the latest in a round of layoffs at the interactive division, which develops digital games and online content based on Disney films and characters. The division has been shedding jobs as executives undertake a restructuring.
The unit had as many as 4,000 employees last year.
Disney officials did not return phone calls seeking comment.
