Christine Cho (Crescenta Valley High, 2008) junior, Harvard University women's golf: Cho, a former All-Area Girls' Golfer of the Year, recently returned to California to participate in Harvard's first match of the season against the University of California. The opener was a little rough for Harvard, which suffered a 289-315 loss against the Bears at Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton on March 17.
Cho carded an 11-over-par 83 for Harvard to finish 10th in the field of 15.
Justina Sadauskaite (Glendale Community College, 2009) junior, Cal State Los Angeles women's track and field: The former Vaquero standout placed eighth in the 800-meter race with a provisional qualifying mark of 2 minutes 13.95 seconds on Sunday at the at the Cal-Nevada Championships at Claremont-Mudd Scripps College in Claremont. The Golden Eagles finished 14th with 17 points. On Saturday, she qualified for the finals of the race with a mark of 2:18.15 to post the fourth-best qualifying time.
