St. Francis in Mission League prelims: The Golden Knights finished with a team score of 410 to place sixth in the seven-team competition Tuesday at Harding Golf Course. The Golden Knights were fifth in league on the season.
Richie Maloof of St. Francis carded an even-par 72 in the prelims and advanced to today's individual final. St. Francis also received a 75 from Vince De Pinto, who also will compete today. The top seven individuals will move on to the CIF Individual Tournament on May 16.
Arcadia 11, Hoover 5: Lulu Multini had two hits and drove in two runs Tuesday for the visiting Tornadoes in a Pacific League contest.
Kenya Buckley and Kaitlyn Williams each had a run-scoring triple for Hoover, which fell to 8-12, 3-7 in league.
