Sainburg is active in the school’s Spanish Club as president, a member of Bridge (a peer counseling group on campus) and the concert choir, is a basketball and tennis player for freshman through junior year, and is a member of the La Canada Trails Institute. Within the community she is president of T.A.C.H. (Teens for the Advancement of Children’s Hospital), secretary of the Youth Outreach and Events Committee, a Spanish tutor and a member of Lake Avenue Church member.
Bunn is captain of the cross-country track team, president of the school’s Club for Christ and an active member of the school’s Athletic Council on Leadership. He serves as a senior tutor in science and French. In the community he is an Eagle Scout of Boy Scout Troop 21, a participant in the Pasadena Independent School’s Foundation and a former intern to nationally syndicated radio talk show host Dennis Prager.
Patton is president of the Mock Trial Team, Key Club co-vice president, belongs to the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation and is active in choir and dance. In the community she is a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient, a Twilight Camp counselor, an assistant Sunday school teacher and a vacation Bible School song leader.
Pires is the ASB president, captain of the varsity softball team, participant in an extracurricular creative writing class, a member of the Young Writers’ Society, a cross country runner and was Junior-class president. In the community she is a team captain for the Monrovia Relay for Life Team, a participant in the annual AIDS Walk, volunteers at a doctor’s office and works in the school office.
Shahbazyan belongs to K.A.T.S. (Kids Against Tobacco Smoking), has worked as a counseling office teacher’s aide solving conflicts, has been in both Key Club and in Robotics, an engineering club. In the community, her activities center on young children. She has worked at the library, a Kiwanis camp and has been part of the Brand Park Winter Wonderland project.
