Willard “Mac” McIntosh
On June 10, 2011 at the age of 89, Willard “Mac” McIntosh passed peacefully to join his dear wife Betty. Born on October 23, 1921 in Boonville, Kentucky Mac grew up on his father’s farm with his 11 brothers and sisters. When Mac was 21, he joined the U.S. Army and served his country stateside as a military policeman. He served his country with pride and modeled his life after his hero, George Patton. During his tour of duty, he was assigned to security on the Kansas City Railway where he met the love of his life, Betty, on July 15, 1943. Mac and Betty enjoyed 65 years of devotion to each other.
After his discharge from the Army in 1944, Betty and Mac built their lives together living in Kansas City, Phoenix and San Diego, where in 1952 they had their one and only child, Maurice.
