A 31-year-old woman was found dead Thursday morning on the outside walkway of her upscale home in the Royal Boulevard Historic District in Glendale, police said.

Kristen Wong of Glendale was discovered dead about 6:37 a.m. outside her home on the 1400 block of Royal Boulevard, Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said. She may have died Wednesday evening or early Thursday, he added.

For now, Lorenz said detectives don’t believe there was any foul play involved because there were no signs of trauma.

“The neighborhood has no cause for alarm,” he said.

Curious residents peeked from the windows and doors of their homes Thursday morning as police and Los Angeles County coroner investigators collected evidence outside Wong’s home, where her body was covered with a white sheet.

Police detectives will continue investigating the death and will wait for a coroner’s report to determine a cause of death, Lorenz said.
