PATH Achieve Glendale has been awarded a $100,000-federal grant to assist in its effort to get homeless veterans off the streets.
The grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will help the city’s largest homeless services provider pay for housing and supportive services for homeless veterans, their families, or those who are at risk of becoming homeless, according to the nonprofit.
Glendale joined the national 100,000 Homes Campaign in May, pledging to transition some the most chronically homeless people into housing and then surround them with a bevy of supportive services to keep them off the street.
