Glendale-based IHOP has released a statement on the shooting deaths at a restaurant in Nevada, calling the killings tragic and "senseless."

Four people have been reported dead, including a gunman, after a shooting this morning in a strip mall parking lot and that spilled into an IHOP in Carson City, Nevada. The confirmed total of those who died in the shooting wasn't immediately available, although news reports put the number between 9 and 13.

After the rampage, police say, the shooter shot himself in the head; the Associated Press reported later that he had died, according to the L.A. Times.
