Kudos to Harry Zavos for a precise report of the recent Glendale City Council meeting on Nov. 29 (“Redirected funds would cover water-rate hike,” Dec. 6).
I agree that every taxpayer in the city of Glendale needs to take special note of how each council member votes regarding the excessive water-rate increases proposed.
I also think it’s noteworthy that Councilman Rafi Manoukian provided a reasonable alternative to Glendale Water & Power rate increases. It seems he may have gained needed wisdom provided by his previous service with the Glendale City Council.
